Georgie's Scrummy Shortbread
This is a recipe based on Mary Berry's shortbread recipe.Ingredients
225g plain flour
100g semolina
225g soft unsalted butter
100g caster sugar
25g demerara sugar- for dusting
30 x 23 cm baking tray
baking paper to line the tin
Method
1. Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees Celsius on fan
2. Add the plain flour, semolina and caster sugar into a big bowl and mix.
3. Then add the soft butter and mix well until the mixture is a dough
4. Line the baking tray with baking paper and then add the mixture.
5. Sprinkle the demerara evenly over the top of the shortbread
6. Put it in the oven for 30-35 mins.
